The vision of Bella Luna Knits (a small, unique yarn and art boutique located in Fort White, Florida) is to encourage and enable all aspects of creativity, particularly in the fiber arts, but not to exclude any creative/artistic endeavor desired by the local community (50 mile radius at least). I have several consignment plans in the works to include creative handmade jewelry, handmade stitch markers, signs and art by Jen's Designs, and classes and workshops taught by experts in a variety of the arts. I also make and sell all natural Goat Milk and Shea Butter soaps.

At least half the 600 SF store is dedicated learning space. The walls will eventually overflow with yarn and 3x3 cubes as I learn what my customers want to knit and crochet with. There are soooooo many yarns to choose from! So, for a start I have Cascade's Ultra Pima and Ultra Pima Light in gorgeous shades for spring and a few neutrals straight from Pantone, Cascade's Luna (how could I resist) which I've just knitted a store model baby sweater from. It's lovely, and has a nice squishy feel for 100% Peruvian Cotton.
Luna is the yarn my beginning knitting class will use to learn and complete a dishcloth or towel. The first class starts Jan. 22nd. I have gorgeous solids and two paints in Luna. There is a small sampling of Cascade 220 (2-4 skeins each color); a nice selection of Cherub 100% acrylic in worsted and DK weight (think lovely baby blankets and sweaters/hats) in spring solids and multis. Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted in coordinating colors for felting projects and hats (I make my tams in this yarn). Brown Sheep Superwash (but wouldn't you know more than half the colors I ordered are on back order) Heritage Sock yarn in solids and paints (David's Eyes is my favorite paint) Regia Sock Yarn in a mosaic pattern (the other pattern is on back order :) and a wall of Clover Bamboo straights/circs in several sizes and ChiaoGoo Red Lace needles in 16" and 32" circs. most sizes available from 0-15.
The grand opening was fantastic and I want to thank everyone who stopped in, and welcome everyone else to stop by!
